Perfume testers are sometimes symbolized on the carton or box (Tester). They are provided by original perfume brands. The perfume is the same, with no difference in scent or concentration, but the shape of the outer carton is different. Sometimes it is without a cover or without a carton, depending on the brand itself. Its price is less than the perfume merchandise due to the difference in the carton only.
What is the difference between Tester and regular box?
- Quality, scent and consistency : 100% identical.
- Price : 10 to 20% lower, sometimes higher or lower, but this is the common percentage.
- Carton : In white or brown carton, and sometimes in the carton of regular perfume with a slight difference, such as without the nylon sleeve. Sometimes the perfume may come without a carton, just the perfume bottle alone.
- Perfume bottle : It has the words “tester not for sale” written on the bottom or next to it in very small letters that can only be seen when you focus on it. It rarely comes without a cap.
- Some brands do not write the word Tester on the box or carton.
